Are you interested in gaining new life experiences in a completely different world with a different culture? Do you like teaching preschool children? Would you like to help us with cooking and other activities? We can always use help and we are convinced that we can learn a lot from each other. It will enrich your life. Guaranteed.

You will live and work right here in Upendo Face. Depending on whether there are other volunteers apart from you, you will have your own room with bathroom or share it with the others. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included. We consider it reasonable for volunteers to stay with us for at least one month, but in the end it is up to you how long you want to support us.

Safari, Kilimanjaro climb, Hotsprings or other excursions

Would you like to experience the beautiful nature of Tanzania during your time with us? No problem. We can help you organize a safari, a climb of Kilimanjaro or other excursions with our local partners. Feel free to contact us at any time.

Costs as a volunteer on site

Basically, we share the attitude that volunteers who come to a 3rd world country to work and support us should not have to pay something for it. However, since we have some expenses when volunteers come to help and our budget in general is very tight and barely sufficient even for the children, it would be great if you could support us with a donation of 200$ per month. The money will go 100% to our children. If you would like to, please join us when we go to the market with your donation and go shopping together for the children.

Costs Visa Tanzania

For entering Tanzania as a volunteer on site, it is unfortunately still the case that the state of Tanzania requires a business visa. The cost for this is 250$ and is valid for 3 months. We are aware that this is very unfortunate, but unfortunately we cannot change this fact.
